Arthur Kearns started climbing way back in 1976. He has been teaching rock climbing since 1988 and views himself as a teacher first and foremost. Internationally, he has climbed in Canada, Boliva, Greenland, and Norway. During the winter, Arthur enjoys telemark skiing the back-country. In addition to teaching rock climbing, he spends much of his time in the role of Mr. Retail, managing the Gendarme and Mountain Trails in Winchester, VA. He has completed the AMGA Rock Instructor Course and holds a Wilderness First Responders medical certification.
