Will comes to Seneca from the mountains of Colorado. He has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado with a focus on alpine rock climbing and skiing. Will enjoys all types of climbing, but he has a special fondness for splitter cracks and technical mixed routes. Will started instructing climbing in 2008 on the granite domes of North Carolina and has since guided in Kentucky, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and now West Virginia.
Will is an AMGA Certified Rock Instructor and Single Pitch Instructor. He is also a Wilderness First Responder and Colorado EMT-B. Personal accomplishments include traditional routes up to 5.11+, sport routes up to 5.12a, and traditional mixed routes up to WI-5 M-6. Will has climbed extensively in the western US in areas such as Eldorado Canyon, Rocky Mountain National Park, Yosemite Valley, Red Rocks NCA, The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and Devil’s Tower.
